THE CHINESE COMMUNITY INTERNET STOP SMOKING PROJECT

About this Study

The Chinese Community Internet Stop Smoking Project (CCISSP) is a research program that aims to provide free evidence-based smoking cessation resources to Chinese smokers and their families around the world.

  • In 2010, with funding support from the California Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP www.trdrp.org), we formed the CCISSP Task Force that aims to develop online smoking cessation resources in Chinese.
  • The content of this website is adapted from the San Francisco Stop Smoking Site, which has served over 500,000 English- and Spanish-speaking smokers around the world. Research trials of the program has consistently yielded 20% quit rate at 1-year (See research paper)
