As an intern at CCHRC from February to September of 2012, Katie was responsible for a variety of tasks which included assisting community members in finding educational material at the CCHRC Wellness Library, translating material from English to Chinese, and researching material for the Asian Alliance for Health website. With an interest in public health education, Katie contributed greatly to CCHRC’s mission to make culturally and linguistically appropriate health education accessible to the San Francisco Chinatown community.
