    婦女健康日

    婦女健康日是由「華人社區健康資源中心」與社區各機構共同協助舉辦，主要面向居住在三藩市的華裔女性，重點是提高人們防病保健的知識。這一保健盛事相當獨特，因爲它滿足了那些由於語言和文化障礙而無法得到相同的醫療教育機會的人士的需要。保健題目包括婦產科健康問題，家人溝通技巧，育兒，膽固醇，骨質疏鬆症，心臟健康，關注癌症，乙型肝炎，家庭暴力，賭博，還包括各種保健檢查，如臨床乳房、膽固醇、血壓、骨質疏鬆症、糖尿病等其他各種檢查。此外，還提供現場免費乳房檢查。在1999年到2004年期間， 婦女健康日吸引了三藩市灣區超過2,700名婦女參加。
