    「華人社區健康資源中心」 爲了實現 「通過提供迎合華裔民族文化及語言特點的健康教育及服務 ，來建立一個健康社區」 的使命 ，其中一項服務就是舉辦一年一度的健康日活動 。從 1999 年開始 ，「華人社區健康資源中心」 每年舉辦一次健康日活動 ，包括婦女健康日 、男士健康日和社區康樂日 。這些康樂活動是由各社區機構共同協助舉辦的 ，主要面向居住在三藩市的講華語居民 ，重點是提高人們的防病保健的知識 。
