    妇女健康日

    妇女健康日是由「华人社区健康资源中心」与社区各机构共同协助举办，主要面向居住在三藩市的华裔女性，重点是提高人们防病保健的知识。这一保健盛事相当独特，因为它满足了那些由於语言和文化障碍而无法得到相同的医疗教育机会的人士的需要。保健题目包括妇產科健康问题，家人沟通技巧，育儿，胆固醇，骨质疏鬆症，心臟健康，关注癌症，乙型肝炎，家庭暴力，赌博，还包括各种保健检查，如临床乳房、胆固醇、血压、骨质疏鬆症、糖尿病等其他各种检查。此外，还提供现场免费乳房检查。在1999年到2004年期间， 妇女健康日吸引了三藩市湾区超过2,700名妇女参加。
