    男士健康日

    华人男士健康日由「华人社区健康资源中心」与社区各机构共同协助举办，针对居住在三藩市只说广东话或国语、或讲双语的男性，重点是提高人们防病保健的知识。这一保健盛事的独特之处在於，它满足了那些由於语言和文化障碍而无法得到相同的医疗教育机会的人士的需要。保健题目包括前列腺健康，男性性功能障碍，心臟病及中风的预防，关注癌症，家人沟通技巧，家庭暴力，赌博，还包括各种保健检查，如前列腺抗原测检（PSA），大便潜血测试（FOBT），乙型肝炎，胆固醇、血压、糖尿病等其他各种检查。2003年是男士健康日活动举办的第一年，当年的活动取得了巨大的成功。在2003到2005年期间，男士健康日吸引了三藩市湾区超过1600名男士参加。
