    「华人社区健康资源中心」 爲了实现 「通过提供迎合华裔民族文化及语言特点的健康教育及服务 ，来建立一个健康社区」 的使命 ，其中一项服务就是举办一年一度的健康日活动 。从 1999 年开始 ，「华人社区健康资源中心」 每年举办一次健康日活动 ，包括妇女健康日 、男士健康日和社区康乐日 。这些康乐活动是由各社区机构共同协助举办的 ，主要面向居住在叁藩市的讲华语居民 ，重点是提高人们的防病保健的知识 。
